Lead the worldwide business for Energy & Water Networks, and drive Revenues, profitability, business outcomes and the Brand for UK. The Leader will formulate, and deliver the strategy in line with the company’s vision – ensuring Energy and Water affordable, sustainable and available in an efficient way. The leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth, management of the P&L, Customer Satisfaction, and Employee Satisfaction. The leader will be accountable for leveraging existing Customer relationships and acquiring new customers and markets across the Energy and Utilities market. The leader will drive the company’s roadmap to knowledge leadership, and will achieve industry wide recognition, leading in customer, partner forums, and academia. The leader will be accountable for forging enduring partnerships and associations with players in the industry to build a rounded capability.
- Revenue: £25 million for FY 16-17. In 3 years build a £100 Million Revenue business.

Must Have Strategic appreciation of the Utilities market in UK and Europe, and the drivers impacting it. Macro, Economic, Regulatory, Financial and other facets. Ability to lead growth in steep on step changes. Trusted senior relationships in the stakeholder group (Utilities, Suppliers to Utilities, Regulatory bodies etc) across the value chain. Deep experience in developing and running business, preferably in UK and European markets, and management of a team of international cultures. Engineering experience of the Utility Network, eg: Power/Water/Gas – through Capital Delivery, Network Health & Control, Capacity Planning and Engineering etc. Must have held direct accountability for promise delivery to Organisation’s Executive, and Customer Executive leadership. Aware of developments and their impacts on the Energy and Water utilities business, such as proliferation of distributed generation, smart networks, retail separation and impacts thereof. Experience should have ideally been both within a Utility, and a Solutions Provider.
Business Leader, with end to end accountability for Growth and P&L. Knowledge of supply chain, solution providers and the market – Transmission /Distribution Engineering Processes, Systems, Instrumentation, Communications technologies. Senior Relationships at Utilities. Senior Management/Exec level experience, in defining and managing business cases through diverse range of stakeholders. Commercial, financial and negotiating acumen. A believer in Steep not Step change. Energy, Enthusiasm, Tenacity, Belief in self, and Mission. Customer connect, Ability to convince and challenge status quo, alter mindset to achieve new direction.
