We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Consultant (Property Risk Control) to be part of a dynamic team. This is a permanent position and can be home or office based. The role will involve working with large national and multi-national organisations. The main purpose of this role is the provision of risk consulting services to clients supporting their needs for risk control services. The successful candidate will have experience of undertaking property risk control surveys, and have a good knowledge of sprinkler systems, including ability to test sprinklers, to interpret the adequacy of sprinklers against national and international codes (including LPC and NFPA), and to review design drawings.
As a Senior Consultant your key responsibilities will include:
Support client's Risk Control programme.
Support the property broking process.
Act as liaison between client and insurance companies.
Undertake site surveys.
Produce reports on site risks and control measures.
Produce prioritised recommendations for risk improvements.
Review, validate and prioritise insurance company and third party recommendations.
Provide advice on risk control issues.
Provide formal written reports and / or verbal presentations.
Lead projects and co-ordinate within other resources in the delivery of the above.
Research and development of technical issues as well as new products and services.
As a Senior Consultant your key skills should include:
Property risk control experience.
Confident with local (LPC) and international (NFPA) codes.
Able to test sprinkler systems, comment on adequacy and sign off drawings.
Degree (or equivalent) and risk management qualifications or relevant accreditations.
Relevant work experience, such as corporate Insurance surveying or risk consulting.
Being able to provide leadership on technical matters and contribute on business issues for the rest of the team.
Experience of insurer environments working across multiple industry groups.
