Our client is a global engineering, design and manufacturing group, with multiple worldwide facilities. They can design, manufacture and supply individual components, complex assembles up to and including complete turnkey solutions to a wide range of technology driven vertical markets.
A new post has arisen due to increased workload and responsibilities for a new UK (Birmingham) based facility, which will be ready to start manufacturing in autumn, this year. The premises are about to be re-fitted in line with our clients' requirements, ready for possession this summer (June). Candidates are being sought for this role now, as in the interim the job can be run from a home office, online.
Specialist systems knowledge required in the following:
- GCP capacity planning;
- GPIRS DDL management;
- SREA monitoring and compilation;
- WebQuote - POs, RFQs/Quotes, Tool Tracking.
As an online works scheduler, you will manage the continuous flow of workload from large Automotive OEM Customers (ie: Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo), which can and will component/product, programme and project led, driven by SLA's and customer priority. These workflows are systems and process driven so ideal candidates will come from OEM backgrounds. Ideal individuals will have historically communicated with the Automotive Engineering supply chain and understand the importance of systems deadline reporting, avoiding penalty clauses at all costs.
New Product Introduction, Manufacturing Work Scheduling, Customer Interface, APQP, Documentation, Supplier Systems, 2EC & Team-Centre Engineering.
5+ years in Automotive OEM (ideally PAG/Premier Automotive Group Systems) and Supplier Manufacturing Systems, scheduling Mfg workflow and NPI delivery schedules, in line with customer expectations and SLA's.
