REQUIREMENTS:

 

Our client is a leading Engineering company and is looking for a Procurement Administrator for a 8 Month contract.

 


ROLE: 

Provide Administrative assistant to the Procurement department 
Major Responsibilities: 
1. Actively chase Suppliers for Purchase Order acknowledgement & update confirmed delivery date on SAP system
2. Actively chase suppliers for project documents i.e. Drawings, Programme, Test results etc 
3. Update & maintain the Material Tracking Application tool 
4. Update & maintain project Procurement plans 
5. Management of supplier invoice queries 
6. General SAP Purchase Order housekeeping, ensuring Goods Receipt is completed in a timely manor 
7. Creation of low value Purchase orders on SAP system 

8. Other administrative tasks 
Basic Qualifications: 
Experience using SAP operating system 
Competent with Microsoft office tools – Word & Excel 
Background in a Procurement / Supply Chain / Accounts Payable environment 
Desired Characteristics 
Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced project company 
Confidence to engage with Suppliers, Project Managers and other stake holders. 
Ability to work well within a team environment 

- This role would suite someone in a junior project management role
