Job Description

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager based in Lowestoft on a Permanent Basis.


Job specification: -


Direct and coordinate the internal structure of the organisation based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines are met consistently.


Experience: -


  • ·Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvement


  • ·Assists upper management with managing the company while overseeing the fibre projects


  • ·Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve production goals


  • ·Managing budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process


  • ·Produce detailed weekly, monthly and annual Profit and loss reports for the company


  • ·Oversees daily activity of the team while they install FTTH home fibre packages


  • ·Prepares budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed


  • ·Oversee and Provide advice, guidance to other employees


  • ·Manages team workloads in order to meet goals and deadlines


  • ·Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs


  • ·Improves and comply existing systems and policies


  • ·Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner


  • ·Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace


  • ·Manages stock and inventory


  • ·Oversees manufacturing functions


  • ·Works closely with other departments to promote efficient factory optimisation


  • ·Identify improvement areas to plans and implement systems boosts to company effectiveness


  • ·Manages internal and external service suppliers


  • ·Executes plans designed to meet company goals by changing policies and coaching employees


  • ·Overseeing FTTP, and Fibre package Installations for the whole of the Lowestoft region


  • ·Planning the preparations for setting up teams while they prep the trenching and the FTTP/FTTH installation


Qualifications: -


·Degree in Operations Management or Business Field Preferred


·Prior Experience as Operations Director or Manager Required


·Strong Organisation and planning Skills


·Excellent Communication Skills


·Both Verbal and Written


·Strong Problem-Solving Skills


·Computer Literate


·Adaptable to Change in a busy industry


·Knowledge in Fibre Projects and installations
