Role: Protection and Control Design Engineer
Description
High Voltage Substation P&C Design
The Protection and Control Design Engineer will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and we are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years working experience in the Electrical Power T&D sector.
Ideally SIPROTEC 4 design experience
TP141 would be advantageous but not essential
The Engineer should have a sound understanding of substation designs.
This includes the ability to interpret Client specifications from tender documents, interpret Protection & Control schematics to enable the preparation of stage by stage interface documents and drawings.
The ability to design mechanical and electrical interlocking schemes.
Able to hold Client technical meetings and progress reviews.
Assist the Proposals Manager in tenders.
Experience
Siprotec experience, Protection design, national grid
