Job Description

Our Client is looking to recruit a Engineering Support Officer to be based in the London area for a permanent position. 
To provide engineering support to the Tendering and Planning engineers for pre-contract and post-contract awarded schemes.
Please note as an Engineering Support Officer (ESO) you may be required to move to work as an ESO in another team - please see job descriptions for other Engineering Support Officer roles.

The Engineering Support role's main responsibilities are:
- Ability to escalate problems in a timely manner to minimise business exposure
- To promote and demonstrate a culture of Health Safety & Quality at all times
- To comply at all times with the requirements of the company's Environmental Policy
- Updating data stores
- Effective management of recorded project detail in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS)
- Completing internal tender/contract documentation such as business process forms
- Completing tender/contract documentation for checking and issuing by others
- Internal BACs/CHAPs request
- Internal Invoice request
- Health & Safety Plan
- Project Programme
- MPAN process
- Legal plan
- Section 50 and Stats plan
- Construction drawings (where assessed as competent)
- Construction drawing revision
- Made Live drawing revision
- As Laid drawing revision
- Collation of construction pack (light green folder)
- All Other reasonably requested duties
- Report all accidents and incidents
- Carry out all works in line with the company's Policies and procedures
- To be aware of the market place that the company is operating within and to promote the company to maximise opportunities
- Ensure that you have the relevant experience, knowledge & training to carry out your duties for the company.

- Must have a professional attitude
- Good communication skills - liaising with clients and project site personnel involved on each contract - by telephone, email and other written correspondence
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English(or equivalent)
- Relationship management - Managing customer expectations
- Carry out any duties as deemed appropriate by the company

- Knowledge using MS Office software packages
- Ideally proficient with AutoCAD, or the ability to demonstrate aptitude to develop own skills to meet these standards
- Must have a clean UK driving licence
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
