Job Description

The physiotherapist we are looking for will be part of a growing team that works closely together to provide a holistic and complete approach to fitness and wellbeing. My client aims to provide the best individually customized exercise programme and advice to the best level of personal centred support. 

The physiotherapist clientele is mainly musculoskeletal but this however can be varied with some respiratory and neurological clients. The team themselves also lead the Pilates classes and pilates 1:1 or 2:1 sessions, being trained in clinical rehabilitation pilates. 

JOB OVERVIEW / PURPOSE
• To ensure that all the treatments you provide are performed in accordance with the best practice but also within the scope of practice that is indicated by the Charted society of physiotherapy (CSP) and also the Health and care Professions (HCPC) 
• You will be reporting to the Group physiotherapy and pilates manager 

QUALIFICATIONS/ KEY PERFORMANCE
• To be flexible within the team to support when needed this could include bank holidays
• To be able to prioritise workload, including clinical workload, administration and other organisation requests to centre running performance 
• To individually ensure that you are completing CPD and maintaining a record of new skills developed.
• To behave in a confidential, competent and professional manner at all times to uphold the reputation of the company 
• To seek advice when needed to recognise personal limitations and to make positive use of supervision 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST:
• Hold a professional qualification recognised by the chartered society of physiotherapy (CSP) and also be registered with the health and care professions council (HCPC) with no restrictions on practice or any pending investigations.
• Be able to build effective working relationships with other team members and be able to gain good relationship with all cliental and guests.
• To lead by example and have a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards all colleagues, clients and also with the wider work of the whole centre. 
• To be able to demonstrate and document clear understanding of the clinical skills you have. 
• Have a recognised pilates instructor qualification at a minimum standard that is to equivalent of APPI Matwork level 2 and to be able to teach pilates class to a high standard.
